In Smart Portal there is a possibility for Business Owners to assign one or more people as Authorized signatories - that is, the person or people in the company who sign agreements and contracts.

To set up one or more people as Authorized signatories in your company, you first need to click on the menu in the upper right corner when you are logged in to Smart Portal. Then select “Account settings” followed by Authorized signatories. In this view, you can specify one or more people as Authorized Signatories.

If the company instead has a proxy holder who acts as an Authorized signatory, this can be specified here in the same way.

To register a person as an Authorized signatory, the person needs to have their name, email, and telephone number registered in Smart Portal. If this information is missing from the person, an error message will appear stating that the information needs to be supplemented. In order for it to be possible to specify the person in question as an Authorized signatory, the information must therefore be filled in first.
